Highlander jacket Lewis and reversible Coll jack tested

We recently have our range of jackets extended with a few models of the brand Highlander. As always, upon entry a pleasant surprise. The price-quality ratio is just fine in this brand.

I decided on a Highlander Lewis jack, the ladies version, to keep back to test out. The jacket comes in 2 colors. Maroon and Forest Green. Currently I have the fall on the color green so the choice was quickly made. Although the deep red of the Maroon is also very nice! It was at that time still quite cold, around freezing. My first thought was why, that coat can never be as warm as my thick winter coat. It really is a thin touch jack. But that is all that can be said. The synthetic tecloft padding is definitely there for you nice and warm. The size I find comfortable. I took an XL (for certainty, for I skipper between L and XL in terms of size) and that there is, so I sometimes think, had I not still better to have a L? On the other hand, there is now another nice room for a thick sweater under the jacket without making you look like a Michelin puppet. Under the armpits is a bet made which ensures that if you very hot, the jacket still in good ventilation. So it's nice ;). The fact that the coat, a hood, makes it for me at all. A good jacket!

Last weekend we (my husband chose a jacket, but more about this hereafter, more) with the jackets and the forest had been geocaching with the kids. The weather was great, not at all cold, but also here I loved the jacket just simply because I got it not too hot!

Then I may of course not be left behind. I have opted for the Highlander Coll a reversible jacket. This is on two sides to wear. On the one hand, the Petrol colour as shown in the photo, and on the other side a black color. You will return the jacket just inside out and you have a whole other coat on. I've had it now a week to behave and he is wonderful. Both early in the morning in the cold if at the end of the afternoon a fine jack. I had a down jacket from Bear Grylls in collaboration with Craghoppers, this was a hood and that I miss a little bit. Without even noticing it captures a coat with a hood still, what wind away from your neck. But yes before that we had the Highlander neckwarmer . And that combi is really super. I also had to get used to not loop around on your coat to hang up, but yes, where are you going to leave if it's a reversible jacket. It is also nothing if everyone behind you is running against you tab in to. And then you get back of which lolbroeken that you have to take on will hang ;). So on the coat hanger, a clothes hanger works fine.

Further again a very nice jack that you are nice and warm, but that you are not a very thick and heavy jacket with you. And with these colors you can always one of the two to wear to all occasions. The black side to work and the petrol in the forest or vice versa. Actually, you have just two jackets in one. On both buitenzijdes are two bags made. I use them almost never but it is convenient that they are there. Furthermore, the jacket is well finished and something I really love about the jacket is the logo on your shoulder. A beautiful finish of a topjack!
